Applying Tits Up Tape is easier than most people think.

Start with clean, dry skin. No moisturiser, body oil, sunscreen, perfume or fresh fake tan. Anything slippery can stop the adhesive from gripping properly.

Apply nipple covers first, then cut your tape into strips before removing the backing paper. Lift your boob into the position you want and apply the tape from underneath, working upwards. Build the support gradually rather than trying to do all the lifting with one strip.

Press each strip firmly onto the skin for a few seconds to help activate the adhesive. Most people use 2–4 strips per side, while larger busts may need a few more for extra support.

The exact taping style depends on your outfit. Whether it's strapless, backless, low-cut or one-shoulder, Tits Up Tape lets you create lift, shape and support without needing a traditional bra.

Good skin prep makes all the difference.

Your skin should be completely clean and dry before applying Tits Up Tape. Moisturiser, sunscreen, fake tan, body oil and perfume can all stop the adhesive from sticking properly.

If you've recently applied any products, wash the area with soap and water and allow it to dry fully before taping. For best results, apply your tape before getting dressed and before you've started sweating.

If you've never used body tape before or have sensitive skin, we always recommend doing a patch test 24 hours beforehand.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer because every body and outfit is different.

Smaller busts may only need 2–3 strips per side, while fuller busts often use 3–5 strips to create the support they're after.

The key is building support gradually. Multiple strips generally work better than trying to create all your lift with one large piece of tape.

If you're wearing a heavier bust or a tricky outfit, don't be afraid to use a little extra tape. It's there to work for you.

That's why it's a favourite for weddings, race days, concerts and summer events where you're likely to be on your feet for hours.

For the best hold, apply your tape before you become hot or sweaty. Excessive water exposure, swimming and applying tape to damp skin can reduce the adhesive strength.

Slowly. Seriously.

The golden rule is never rip Tits Up Tape off dry. Your skin will not thank you for it.

Saturate the tape with baby oil, coconut oil, olive oil or body oil and allow it to soak through for a few minutes. Once the adhesive starts loosening, gently peel the tape back while supporting your skin with your other hand.

Add more oil whenever needed. The slower you go, the easier and more comfortable the removal process will be.

We've always said the same thing: slow and oily wins every time.

Once your tape is removed, wash the area with warm water and a gentle cleanser to remove any leftover adhesive or oil.

If your skin feels dry, apply a moisturiser afterwards. Some people may notice mild redness after wearing body tape for several hours, which is completely normal and usually settles quickly.

Giving your skin a little TLC after removal helps keep it happy and ready for your next event.

Sleeping in body tape can put unnecessary stress on your skin, especially if the tape shifts or pulls while you're asleep. Once your event is over, it's best to remove the tape properly using oil and give your skin a chance to breathe.
